Welcome to my portfolio website. I am an ecosystem scientist currently pursuing a Professional Science Master’s in Ecosystem Science and Sustainability at Colorado State University, with a focus on carbon management.

My background combines sustainability research, environmental data analysis, and geospatial science. I am especially interested in understanding carbon emissions, climate change, and how data can support better environmental decisions.

What I Do

I work at the intersection of ecology, data science, and sustainability. My experience includes:

  • Environmental data analysis using R
  • Geospatial analysis and mapping using ArcGIS Pro
  • Statistical analysis and basic machine learning
  • Qualitative research and coding using MaxQDA
  • Science communication in sustainability and climate topics
  • Working in both English and Arabic

Experience Highlights

  • Conducted research on public perceptions of bat research facilities.

  • Contributing researcher and co-author at KAUST on a chapter on the evolution of the UNFCCC and global carbon governance

  • Developed a StoryMap user guide for Namibia’s environmental tracking platform in collaboration with CNHP and the University of Namibia,

  • Worked on projects analyzing carbon emissions and environmental data using statistical and machine learning methods.

Career Goals

I am interested in working in carbon management and sustainability, especially in roles that combine environmental science, data analysis, and policy. My goal is to contribute to solutions that reduce emissions and support sustainable systems.
